Show Notes

2022 is approaching, and as the people of my country would say: "New year, new life!"

2021 was a year of challenges for many people so, if you made it to the end of the year, congratulations!

The end of a year helps us put into perspective the good and bad things that happened throughout it. It helps us to know what we learned, how we can improve, and what we must change in our lives. We feel the excitement for new beginnings, the desire to become the best version of ourselves, and the inspiration to create and reach new goals. In this episode, I will give you ten questions that you can start asking yourself this year to start this 22 with everything.

I hope you enjoy this last episode of 2021. Thanks for staying with me throughout this year. See you in 2022.

Happy new year!

EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS.

  • [3:19] How to prepare yourself for the questions?

It is not an easy process. So, find some time to do this, a quiet place, a notebook, or a journal, and start your 2021 review to give the best of you next year.

  • [6:30] First question: What did I accomplish?

I know that negative memories will come to your mind faster than negative ones. Surely some of you will answer "nothing," but try to remember, even the tiniest things you achieved deserve recognition.

  • [8:00] Second question: What were my biggest disappointments?

What happened, happened. This question is not to make us sad but to write it down on paper, let off steam, and be able to move on with our lives.

  • [9:16] Third question: What did I learn?

We all learn something new every day. At the beginning of the year, you were a different person than you are now, and it's because of the things you have learned during these months that have led you to be a wiser person.

  • [12:08] Fourth question: How do I limit myself, and how do I stop it?

One of our greatest enemies is ourselves. Many times, we limit ourselves by things that are not true. When you realise it, you will notice how much stuff it has cost you in your life.

  • [18:08] Fifth question: What are my values?

Have a judgment of what is important or valuable in your life; this will lead you to make better decisions.

  • [20:40] Sixth question: What role do I play?

It is necessary to identify the responsibilities of each role that you fulfil. Asking yourself this question gives you direction and helps you find balance in your life.

  • [22:03] Seventh question: Which role is my principal focus for next year?

What is it that you will give prominence to next year? Start thinking about it, and it will make it easier for you to have the best year of your life.

  • [25:04] Eighth question: What is my goal for each role?

You can be a mother, sister or brother, etc. I am sure you want to improve your relationship with every person in your life. Set goals that help you improve your relationships with them.

  • [25:58] Ninth question: What are my top tangles for next year?

Learn to identify it. Go straight to the point you want to improve and start looking for solutions.

  • [27:14] Tenth question: How do I make sure I meet all of my goals?

Once you have set your goals, you have to start meeting them. Write your goals and cut them into small daily or weekly actions that you know you can meet. Step by step, you will be closer to reaching them.
